Detailed Information: Kashmir Tilla Pure Pashmina shawls are intricately hand woven with care by expert craftsmen using plain Pashmina yarn with using a wide variety of colours.

Some researchers site that the Tilla Embroidery is said to have its origins back in the remote village of Zari in the North Khorasan Province, Iran. Its being stated that origins of embroidery of Tilla Dozi in Kashmir is attributed to Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA), one of the great Sufi saints, also known as Shah-e-Hamdan (RA), born in Hamadan, Iran.
Metallic threads esp gold and silver are used to embroider Intricate designs creating a raised and textured effect by highly skilled craftsman using specialized needle  and  to create intricate and ornate designs.

The weavers extensively work on developing the Kashmir design vocabulary of patterns and motifs on each shawl, many time adopting techniques like Ikat etc.

Minute variations in each handmade piece could be there, these are part of its originality and ingenuity.

Colours may vary slightly due to lighting conditions.
